Massartre Ltd.

Massartre, Ltd. founded in 1981, is a general contracting firm offering clients, architects and interior designers a high level of service, quality construction, and fine custom detailing.

Since its inception, Massartre has built a reputation for excellence as a full service company, with a broad range of experience in projects of varying size, type and complexity, from residential to commercial, from basic structurals through cabinetry and fine ornamental detail. Massartre also finds itself at the forefront of industry competition and in demand with value added through strict budget and scheduling management, and sensitivity to aesthetic concerns from the site level up, with a wide knowledge of materials and techniques

HCO LLC, a separate but value added component of the Massartre team, focuses on construction management, property management, and consultation services. Addressing the ever-increasing demand for expertise, HCO LLC offers clients and professionals proven solutions to minimize risk and optimize outcome.

In addition to the professional services offered by Massartre and HCO, the founders, Sherrill Mass and Catharine Hough, believe in supporting the communities in which their employees live and work. As such, they were immediately committed to rebuilding and restoring those areas hardest hit by Hurricane Sandy, donating time and work force to relief efforts. They also provided pro-bono services for numerous community projects focused on the rehabilitation of homes for the elderly and for non-profit organizations, such as Christmas in April NYC. Additionally they have worked with New York Cares, The Doe Fund, and BCPC.

Massartre and HCO both welcome innovative construction projects for all phases of new construction, restoration, and the renovation of houses, condominiums, co-ops, and commercial properties. Our solution-focused approach to innovative and complex project requirements and maintenance of project integrity ensure a high level of quality and professionalism from start to finish.
